Kilkenny Corkers had the opportunity to perform at both the Kalamazoo Scottish Fest and Ceilidh last weekend. Visitors could watch the Highland Games, browse the clan tents, children’s games, music…something for all. My favorite was the kids’ caber toss-a huge cardboard tube for wee Scots to have a bit of fun!
The Corkers performed a set at the festival and later at the after party or Ceilidh, a traditional Scottish or Irish social event with music, dancing, and storytelling. Here’s some highlights from the evening:
